Carcinoma in situ - prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN)
- no proof that PIN is a cancer precursor
- Closely associated with cancer
- These cancer cells begin to multiply and spread to the surrounding prostate tissue (the stroma) forming a tumor [11]
